Experienced CBT Therapist in Edinburgh
Welcome to EJP Therapy. I'm Ellie, a CBT therapist based in Edinburgh. I provide a supportive and understanding environment to help you navigate challenges like anxiety and OCD.
I first heard about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in 2009 when I received it through the NHS. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure it would make much of a difference, but I was pleasantly surprised by how powerful and life-changing it turned out to be. It was through that experience that I realised how effective CBT can be in helping to understand and change unhelpful patterns of thinking.

When I walked out of therapy, something clicked - I knew I wanted to help others in the same way. That’s when I decided to train as a therapist. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding people through their own journeys, offering a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.

I now believe that everyone has the power to lead a fulfilling life, even through personal struggles. I’m here to help you understand your emotional patterns and uncover what might be keeping you stuck so you can find hope and joy again.
